My stay at The Imperial Torquay was a mixed experience. The amazing sea views and the helpful staff definitely stood out, making for a pleasant environment. However, I found the hotel itself to be a bit dated and in need of some TLC, especially considering the price I paid for my room. While I enjoyed the extensive breakfast options, some areas felt neglected. Overall, it was good, but I think it could be much better with a few improvements.

I had a lovely stay at The Imperial Torquay, highlighted by amazing sea views and comfortable accommodations. However, I faced some issues with service, particularly during breakfast when seating workflows caused delays. Overall, the hotel has a charming ambiance but could improve in certain areas. 🌊✨

I had a lovely time at The Imperial Torquay, thanks to amazing views and comfy accommodations. However, my evening meal was a letdown, particularly the presentation of my Pork main course, which felt way overhyped. The initial check-in took longer than it should have, but overall, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and atmosphere.

My room had a beautiful view, and the bed was really comfy. However, we did experience some cleanliness issues; a false nail was left on the carpet, which showed that the room hadn't been properly cleaned.
Service

The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but I wish they'd been more attentive during dining services. Sometimes it felt like they were in a rush, which took away from the overall experience.
Location

The location is great with stunning views over the bay, though it's set on top of a steep hill. It's just a short walk down to the marina area, making it convenient for exploring Torquay.
Dining

Dining at the hotel had lovely views, and while breakfast was superb, my experience with the dinner service wasn't ideal. I felt that for the price, the meal quality and presentation could have been much better.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the indoor and outdoor pools were a highlight of my stay. However, the bar area closed too early for my liking, and the path to the leisure center could definitely use easier access.

I recently stayed at The Imperial Torquay and had some highs and lows during my visit. The amazing sea views really stood out and positively impacted my experience. However, the dining options left much to be desired, and the service at times felt a bit rushed. Overall, while the location and ambiance were charming, there are areas that definitely need improvement.

While the dining area offered amazing views, the menu felt quite limited, and my experience with evening meals was less than satisfactory. The quality of food didn't match the price I paid.

I had a somewhat mixed experience at The Imperial Torquay. The amazing sea views truly enhanced my stay, but the service left much to be desired. While my deluxe family room was spacious, the lack of quality in furnishings and issues with my booking marred the overall impression. I enjoyed the charm of the hotel's historical ambiance, but there were definitely areas that require attention.

The reception staff were polite, but they seemed overwhelmed and not always attentive. I struggled with getting consistent service during my stay, and there were too few staff available.
Location
